This workbook aims to lead people – both those who do not yet know Jesus Christ personally, and those already know him – closer to the Bible and into the truth. The authors are convinced that the discipleship urged by Jesus in Matthew 28 is God’s desire. This discipleship can be compared to bringing forth and bringing up children. God’s will is that through sharing and teaching the Gospel we also bring forth spiritual sons and daughters, bring them up and lead them into spiritual maturity. This spiritual maturity is not simply the independence of the individual believer in a strong and sure relationship with Jesus but the interdependence of the many individually strong and sure believers across different generations. This workbook is a training guide for raising spiritual children. It poses important life questions and directs trainer and disciple to seek answers in the Gospel of John. The simple, practical questions guide the disciple into finding their way in God’s Kingdom.
